April Favorites

What makes me happy:

  • Summer House drama (#CarlIsAMess)

  • The Real Housewives of New York City

  • Book Clubs

  • Chomps beef jerky

  • Southern Charm

  • Being a photographer (lol)

  • Sabrina Carpenter & Madonna at Coachella

It’s that time of the month again, and I’ve been collecting little favorites that inspire me beyond belief. I’m loving so many different things right now, but we need to start with the most unexpected bang.

West Wilson, Ciara, and Summer House Chaos (#CarlIsAMess)

Honestly, where do we even begin?

Summer House has fully taken over my brain again. Carl is an absolute mess right now.

And somehow in the middle of all of that, we’ve got West Wilson and Amanda Batula suddenly in love. It beats me. Truly. I fear I fell for that medium-ugly Midwestern guy charm, and unfortunately, that is exactly my type. But hello. Girl code.

Still, my girl Ciara is going to be just fine. She is that girl. She was always that girl. She does not need West Wilson; she needs someone who actually deserves her, and those are two very different things.

The Real Housewives of New York City

RHONY is my comfort show, my reset button, my religion. There is something about the way these women move through the world, loudly, chaotically, in very expensive shoes, that brings me genuine peace. The drama has structure, layers, and history. I respect it deeply.

Book Clubs

Book clubs are so chic. I want to go to one so bad. There is something about sitting around, talking about books, life, and random drama over coffee that feels incredibly main-character to me. At this point, I’m honestly wondering... should I just start one? Because I genuinely might.

Chomps Beef Jerky

Okay, do not laugh at me. Chomps beef jerky has genuinely changed my life. High-protein, no weird ingredients, easy to throw in my bag wherever I go. It is the snack of a person who has their life together, which is exactly the kind of person I’m pretending to be this month.

Southern Charm

Southern Charm has absolutely no business being as unhinged as it is, and yet here we are. The accents, the houses, the drama that somehow feels both petty and life-altering. It is a whole universe, and I would love to live inside it for one weekend before safely returning to reality.

Being a Photographer (lol)

I say “lol,” but I genuinely mean this one. I’ve been picking up my camera more this month, and something about it completely resets my brain. Looking through a lens forces you to slow down and decide what is worth capturing, and honestly, that feels like therapy. I’m officially calling myself a photographer now. Nobody can stop me.

SABRINA.

MADONNA.

ONE STAGE.

Sabrina Carpenter & Madonna at Coachella

This was a moment. A real pop culture moment. Two entirely different eras of pop greatness are shaking hands in the California desert. Sabrina is having the run of her life right now, and Madonna showing up to co-sign it felt like watching a torch get passed in real time.

And that’s April. Chaotic, inspired, slightly unhinged, and a little heartbroken on Ciara’s behalf.

See you next month.
